Stores Person Vacancy
The Purvis Group are recruiting an experienced Stores person to join our team based at our HQ in Lochgelly.
This opportunity is ideal for an organised, practical, Stores Person with previous Mechanical Stores experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Duties:
Co-ordinate incoming & outgoing deliveries
Booking in goods received on Syrinx software
Updating stock control system with all incoming/outgoing deliveries (accurate maintenance of paper & electronic records)
Unloading goods by forklift and moving to correct stores area
Ordering stock as needed for relevant departments
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in stores area
Liaise with Buyer/Workshop Manager on a regular basis
Flexibility to undertake other tasks where time allows
Experience required:
Forklift Licence
Practical experience in a mechanical stores environment
IT Skills and be competent in using inventory management systems
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Excellent organisational skills & strong attention to detail
Flexible & proactive approach to work with an ability to multi-task
Salary: depending on experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30-17.30
