Lochgelly Albert rename their ground Purvis Park

Lochgelly Albert FC shared a press release on their Facebook page.  We are delighted that Bob's community spirit has been recognised & wish the team all the best for all upcoming fixtures!  

"Lochgelly Albert F.C. are to re-name their home ground, “Purvis Park”.
This is in recognition of the support and sponsorship given to the Club over the past forty years, by local businessman, Bob Purvis.
Bob has been on hand helping and advising “The Albert” on many occasions throughout the years through his first business venture, Purvis Plant Hire, who also sponsor the first team kit.
It could be said that Bob’s is one of, if not the longest, sponsorship in Fife, or even Scottish football.
The Committee at the Albert would like to express their sincere thanks and wish Bob and his family our best wishes for the future.
